The flagship

Calibre One

A 39 mm mechanical watch with a grand feu enamel dial, a hand-regulated movement and a strap cut from a single hide. It is the reference every other Aster piece is measured against.

The atelier

Made slowly,
on purpose.

  1. 01

    The dial is painted in six passes and fired between coats, so the numerals sit inside the enamel rather than on top of it.

  2. 02

    Each case is machined from a single block, then hand-finished for a satin surface that stays soft against the light.

  3. 03

    Every movement is regulated in six positions before it leaves the bench — not one position, as convention allows.

  4. 04

    The final assembly is completed by one maker, who signs the movement and enters it in the studio register.

316L Stainless

Chosen for its weight in the hand and its resistance to everyday wear.

Grand feu enamel

A glass surface that will not yellow, fade or age the way paint does.

Vegetable-tanned leather

A strap that records its owner, darkening with use instead of cracking.

Domed sapphire

Anti-reflective on both faces, so the dial reads clearly in any light.
